At the Dr Rasha Clinic, we’ve always placed the safety, happiness and wellbeing of all of our staff and patients at the centre of our work in order to ensure of the most professional service possible and in regards to the Covid-19 outbreak, this approach to the way we work has been no different.
Despite our enforced closure, we’ve been able to deliver complimentary consultations online to all of our patients as a way of helping them to keep their spirits up (and their skin glowing) during this difficult time.
As you may know by now, the Government recently revealed fresh guidance on which sorts of activity are permitted during lockdown and, although some of these changes may seem small, they could potentially indicate a return to more familiar ways of doing things in the near future. With this in mind, we thought we’d take this opportunity to share with you how we’ll be conducting our business going forward, making you aware of all of the control measures we will put in place at our clinic as soon as we are allowed to re-open. By doing this, we will make sure that your visit to our clinic will be as safe as it can possibly be.
Limited social contact
Once re-opened, we will adhere to the practice of social distancing as closely as we can. This will entail booking appointments online, via phone or by using WhatsApp in order to reduce unnecessary travel and attendance at our clinic. We will also do our best to make sure that you only come into contact with your practitioner when you arrive for your appointment. If you are asked to sit in our waiting room with other patients, we pledge to make sure that there is enough room for everybody to sit 2m apart from each other in observation of safe social distancing guidelines.
Strict hygiene standards
It goes without saying that our hygiene standards are nothing less than exemplary. However, due to the ability of Covid-19 to remain on some surfaces for a prolonged period of time, we will be doubling our cleaning efforts. This means that not only will we be completing all daily cleaning tasks but we will be placing a special focus on areas of our clinic that are at a greater risk of carrying infection, such as door handles, sinks, chairs and work surfaces. We will also, as always, conduct procedures with sterile and clean equipment, making use of PPE where needed. Our staff will also be asked to wash their hands thoroughly on a regular basis and whenever entering or leaving the clinic. You will be asked to do the same.
Staying safe
Although the current measures around Covid-19 appear to be working, we’ll still be ensuring that all advisable safety protocols are followed to the letter when we re-open. With that said, we will be asking all of our staff to maintain a high standard of hygiene and to make us aware if they are displaying any symptoms of the virus. They will then be asked to remain at home for the appropriate period of time. By the same token, if you are showcasing any of these symptoms, we must insist that you stay at home and reschedule your appointment with us if you can. The safety of our staff and patients is key and we do not want this to become compromised.
We will continue to keep you all updated as to when we will be re-opening our doors. We’re sure that you appreciate that this situation is changing on a daily basis and we will endeavour to inform you of any changes as and when we can.
