TREATMENT

DERMAL FILLERS FOR HANDS

ARTISTIC AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Treatment overview

We’ve got to hand it to dermal fillers – is there anything they can’t do?! What many of our patients at the Dr Rasha Clinic don’t realise is that your hands are one of the first places to show the signs of premature ageing. They are in constant use day in, day out; consistently battered by a barrage of external factors, and this can seriously impact their physical appearance. Over time, our hands suffer a loss in dermal elasticity and the wasting away of subcutaneous tissue, leading to prominent veins, tendons and general bone structure, which can be rather unsightly.

The skin on your hands deserves to look beautifully smooth and youthful just as much as the skin around your face, which is why restoring lost volume through the highly precise application of intricate dermal fillers is the best possible solution.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

We have a number of HA fillers that are made up of different strengths, and Dr Rasha will advise which type is best suited to treat your hands. At the Dr Rasha Clinic, Dr Rasha Rakhshani likes to specifically use Teoxane and Juvederm.

Using her unique and artistic technique, Dr Rasha will skillfully administer the filler to transform and rejuvenate your hands. The best results from this treatment should be noticeable in about 4 weeks, and results can last between 6 to 12 months, at which time a top up treatment will be recommended in order to maintain results.

You may experience mild pain and slight discomfort at the injection sites during the procedure, but numbing cream is available if this is a worry for you. You may also experience a bit of bruising or swelling in the treated area, but this will subside after a few days. Dr Rasha will provide comprehensive aftercare advice for all of her patients, and most patients return to their usual daily activities immediately post-treatment.
