TREATMENT

DERMAL FILLERS FOR JAWLINE DEFINITION

ARTISTIC AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Treatment overview

The overall appearance of the jawline and the surrounding area can be significantly enhanced without the need for invasive surgery, thanks to the latest innovations in non-surgical aesthetics. The prospect of having to go ‘under the knife’ can be rather difficult to chew for so many of us thanks to the implications it has in terms of cost, risk and downtime. Dermal fillers now offer a fast and effective solution for a weak jawline that has plagued you with confidence issues for far too long without these looming concerns.

At the Dr Rasha Clinic, we first pay close attention to your needs and expectations before creating a bespoke treatment plan that will define and contour your jawline for a more attractive shape and profile.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

At the Dr Rasha Clinic, we have a number of HA fillers that are made up of different strengths, and Dr Rasha will advise which type is best suited to treat your jawline. Specifically, Dr Rasha likes to use Teoxane and Juvederm.

Dr Rasha uses a unique and artistic technique when administering dermal fillers. You can expect to have a more defined and desirable jawline, and best results from this treatment should be seen about 4 weeks post treatment. Results can last between 6 to 12 months, at which time a top up treatment will be recommended in order to maintain results.

During the procedure, you may experience mild pain and slight discomfort, but if this is a concern, then a topical numbing cream is optional for you pre-treatment. You may also experience slight bruising or swelling around the jawline, but this will subside after a few days and can be covered up quite easily with makeup. Dr Rasha will provide in-depth aftercare advice for all of her patients, and most patients return to their usual daily activities immediately post-treatment.
