TREATMENT

Vaginal Rejuvenation

ARTISTIC AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Treatment overview

Vaginal rejuvenation is increasingly popular amongst women looking to take control of their sex lives after the process of ageing, or giving birth, leads to the thinning of the inner walls of the vagina. The thinning of vaginal walls can cause skin laxity, pain during sex, lack of lubrication, and even incontinence. All to often, changes to the way the vagina functions, or even looks, can be difficult to contend with, as it is one of the most intimate and personal areas of the body. Vaginal walls often thin as a result of hormonal changes or significant pressure, such as a drop in oestrogen levels or childbirth, causing them to lose strength, plumpness, and to colour and pigmentation changes.

All of our patients are required to attend a thorough consultation with Dr Rasha prior to undergoing treatment. When it comes to vaginal rejuvenation, we know this can be a delicate topic, and seek to put all of our patients at ease by greeting them with a warm, friendly energy and conducting their consultation with the utmost of discretion and sensitivity. For more information, please get in contact.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Usually in the case of dermal fillers, they are injected into the front wall of the vagina, and possibly closer to the clitoris. The Intimate Peel can be used on all areas of the genitals and anus.

The vagina is a very sensitive area, and anaesthetic will be required to ensure patient comfort. The Intimate Peel is uncomfortable, but not painful, and may cause tenderness after treatment.

Dermal fillers should last most patients between 12 and 18 months. The Intimate Peel, which requires a course of 4 treatments spaced at least a week apart, lasts for 3 months, after which, maintenance treatment will be required to continue the benefits.

There is no downtime associated with either treatment. However, Dr Rasha will issue comprehensive aftercare advice that should be adhered to in order to ensure maximum benefits.
